A little editing magic ✨

I loved the composition straight out of camera, but I wanted the final image to feel quieter, moodier, and a little more timeless.

Muted the greens, warmed the stone, deepened the shadows, and let that gorgeous old bridge become the focus.

Almost gave up on this one. 💜

When I first took this photo, something about it just wasn’t clicking for me. I started editing it, didn’t love where it was going, and eventually moved on.

Coming back to it with fresh eyes (and a few more editing skills), I finally saw what it could be — soft lavender, warm summer light, and a quiet little moment hiding in the original.

Editing is one of the most meticulous parts of photography, and it takes so much longer than most people probably realize. Tiny adjustments to light, color, skin tones, and even individual areas of a photo can completely change how a moment feels.

Sometimes a photo doesn’t need to be deleted. It just needs you to see it differently. 💜
