The skies over southeast Georgia were very angry this afternoon.

One storm almost derailed an aerial shoot I had for a real estate listing in Darien, but I managed to finish it before the bottom fell out. I then lingered at 200 feet AGL for another minute to snap a few cloudscapes (images 8 through 10 here).

When I got back to Waycross and turned onto Plant Avenue, I noticed ominous skies still lurking to the east and northeast. I got to my house as fast as I (safely) could, grabbed the drone and sent it back up, and the first 7 images here are what resulted.

Sunrise on Jekyll Island lends itself to stunning family portraits. The end result is even more impactful when it’s printed and displayed in the home.

This family came to me with that idea in mind, and I’m thrilled with the final product. Their order included a large canvas of the extended family, a set of framed 8x10s, and collages of the immediate family and a trio of adorable youngsters.

From initial consultation to oceanside shoot to followup ordering session, they were great to work with.

Don’t keep your photos hidden away on a phone or computer – get them printed, hang them on your walls and celebrate your family every day, large and in living color 🙌

(By the way, any image I have printed for you comes with a digital version – because you *do* want your social media followers to see them too.)

I’ll walk you through the whole process – planning for shoot day, capturing your family in the best light, recommending images and wall art combinations, preparing the files for print. All you have to do show up and be yourselves.
