A shoutout to the best dad around. ❤️

Today, Dan headed back to work after spending the most precious eight weeks with our new family of five. We are so incredibly lucky to have him. He is our rock and the very best dad to Cash, Romy and Pearl.

During my C-section recovery, he stepped into every role imaginable—cook, cleaner, nurse, chauffeur, and full-time kid wrangler. He never missed a ninja class, music class, swim lesson, school drop-off, or pick-up, and somehow still found the energy to chase the kids around every day.

What I’m most grateful for is the gift he gave me: the time and space to soak in every moment with Pearl. Knowing she is our last baby, those quiet moments of bonding are something I’ll cherish forever.

We couldn’t have made it through these past eight weeks without him, and I couldn’t be more thankful for my Dan. ❤️

On the morning of April 3, a nearly 8 lb baby with hairy shoulders named Pearl Colette was born smiling into a sea of raging love. A healthy baby and an accomplished mother were accompanied home by a proud father, where they were greeted with much of zest by the resident cherubs.

Oh man, my guy is 5. How do I possibly have a 5-year-old already?! What a whirlwind. I’m feeling all the emotions today (being 40 weeks pregnant also adds all the feels), but I’m excited, sentimental, and most of all so proud of my boy who made me a mama.

Cash has taught Dan and I so much about life. He’s incredibly funny, smart, silly, athletic, and so kind to his friends. I wish time would slow down, but I love watching the little boy he’s becoming and couldn’t be more proud.

Thank you for making your daddy and me so proud. We love you to the moon and back! 💙
