Very proud to announce that 𝙒𝙞𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙙 is now streaming on Tubi and is part of the inaugural class of HBCU First LOOK Tubi 2026 films. 🎬

This is truly a full-circle moment. Our founder, Alana I. Smith, created Withered as her senior thesis film during her final year at Howard University. The project became the seventh short film produced under AIS Productions and went on to be officially selected at eight film festivals, named a semi-finalist twice, and even received an award for “Best Movie Poster.”

Congratulations to the writer-director, cast, and crew for making it this far! Producing this short film at Howard was not an easy road, but Alana made a promise to her cast that their work would shine. Seeing this work now reach audiences on a national streaming platform is incredibly meaningful.

Many of the artists involved are professionally trained actors from the Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts, while others are continuing to grow in their professional journeys. Now to see our work streaming on Tubi, a widely recognized distributor, is a true blessing. Visibility matters.
