1524 is a 24-hour still photo shoot-off competition based on one theme, up to five image entries and reviewed for storytelling or essay content. Winners will be judged for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and honorable mention This is an online competition streamed live with key presenters and remote editor mentors standing by to assist. Competitors will be globally involved using pacific standard time for deadline

. Open judging will be conducted on the third and final day and winners announced through social media.
