On behalf of Tamika and myself, we want to extend a sincere thank you to the team at FOX 5 DC for sharing our cousin Juanita’s story and interviewing us. Your coverage is vital in keeping her memory alive and helping our family seek the justice she deserves.

Juanita “Big Son” Frazier was a phenomenal woman—a loving single mother of three, a great aunt, and an incredible cousin whose impact on everyone who knew her was immense. This is a difficult road, and as Tamika and I step in to care for her children, our priority is their well-being and future.

For those who have asked how to support the family, all donations will go directly toward caring for her children and covering the costs of laying her to rest. We will provide updates on the funeral arrangements and candlelight vigil very soon.

Thank you to the team at NBC Washington for giving us the platform to share the story of our cousin, Juanita “Big Son” Frazier. We appreciate you helping us keep her name alive and highlighting the search for justice.

As our family navigates this tragedy, Tamika and I are now focused on the care and well-being of Juanita’s children. They are our priority, and we are dedicated to making sure they are supported and loved through every step of this journey.

Yesterday, our family’s world stopped. We lost my cousin, Juanita “Big Son” Frazier, in a way no one should ever have to experience. To know her was to know a light that should still be here with us today.

We aren’t just mourning; we are seeking the truth.
Juanita was taken from us at Oxon Run Community Park on the night of April 28th. If you know anything-no matter how small you think it is-please, for our family, speak up. We need justice for her.

A small suggestion: If you have a favorite photo of the two of you together, or a video of her laughing, posting that alongside these words can really show the world the person she was to you, beyond just the police report.
