Everyone,

I've been invited to take over the studio lighting course at Glen Echo Park. If you've been interested in learning some off camera flash techniques I hope you will consider this option.

Here's a description and a link to the registration:

Introduction to off camera flash and studio lighting techniques
One of the best, easiest and most fun ways to improve the quality of your photographs is to learn to manipulate your flash off camera. Whether you are thinking of starting a wedding photography business, have a food blog or an etsy store, or just enjoy taking photos of family and friends, these essential, yet basic techniques, will improve the quality of your photos.

This class will cover a variety of topics including: how to connect your flash to your camera, how to get the most out of a single flash, how to 'build' multiple light set ups, and how to blend flash and ambient light, and we will look at how these techniques can be used to communicate different ideas.

We still need a few more people to sign up for the spring to have the class, but if it doesn't happen this time around it should be available again in the fall.
Please forward to others who you think might be interested.

Tired of the look of on-camera flash? Learn techniques to work with flash off camera and portable strobe light. One off-camera flash is absolutely necessary. Info: [email protected]. Minimum age 18.
