Omg! 😖 When going gets tough, sailors go for a six pack. Now I know why our friend and boat mechanic Mark is an avid beer aficionado.
Water tube is completely corroded and breaks apart. Electrolyses. Since Tohatsu used cheapest parts, the parts crumble.
In good news we found a problem, it is broken water tube. We get to experience the full spectrum of agony and ecstasy of outboard repair.

Waking up early with sunrise. We love the morning time, when everything feels possible.
We will have a time for ourselves and soon start working. Ted on outboard and me on editing.

First time ever took the lower unit off from Tohatsu 6 outboard. We broke the seal and pushed the inertia forward.

Hey! We took bunch of hits today and we came back. Found a $52 propeller in West Marine for hanghai electric motor- Minnkota propeller and modified one of our bolts to fit as a pin. Otherwise we have now one working outboard and oars.

Next we gonna fix up the other outboard and we need wind turbines up, because our boat uses a lot of juice.

Our motor stopped working. Maybe it is a bad waterpump. Also bunch of stuff melted- like throttle drum got so hot it melted and some wires etc.
We ordered new waterpump housing and throttle drum.

We got home yesterday with our electric motor, but its propeller broke and we lost it. We will row over to west marine to get a new propeller if possible.
