19-year-old Nathalie Rodriguez Gonzalez was taken into custody on Friday after she allegedly extorted her lover.

Per the report, Nathalie was working as a waitress at a restaurant in Miami-Dade County, Florida, when she and the victim began to engage in a romantic relationship.

The suspect said that after a few dates, she learned that he had a girlfriend for the “entire time they were together” and allegedly responded by sending threatening text messages to the victim and demanding $20,000 from his bank account.

Authorities said she warned that if she wasn't paid, she would tack on an additional $5,000 to the total payment and would send intimate pictures to his girlfriend and business partner. Deputies said the suspect further warned that she would post those pictures on all of her social media platforms

“This will genuinely get posted if he doesn't wire me money BTW," she allegedly told the man's girlfriend.

After the victim refused to pay the suspect, she allegedly sent one of the photos to his business partner and asked the partner for the phone number of the victim's girlfriend so that she could send the photo, reportedly texting, “Should I post this on my IG and tag everyone?”

The suspect then allegedly sent the picture to the victim's girlfriend and told her, “This will genuinely get posted if he doesn't wire me money BTW.” Rodriguez Gonzalez then allegedly posted the images to her TikTok page, as well as other photos, and continued to send threatening messages.

The suspect was arrested at her home on Friday, and when speaking to investigators, she allegedly gave a “full confession.”

Passenger killed by mailbox after leaning out of car; driver accused of felony DWI.

A Springfield woman faces a felony charge after her passenger was killed in a horrific crash early Sunday morning in Christian County.

A Missouri woman was killed upon impact with a mailbox while hanging her head from the car window. The driver, her friend, was arrested and possibly facing felony charges.

28-year-old Alyssa Vanorsdel and her 25-year-old friend were driving along Highway U near Rogerville, Missouri, when a carefree moment cost a young woman her life.

It was 4 a.m. on the morning of August 30th, and Alyssa was driving her SUV westbound on the Christian County highway.
The 25-year-old woman had unbuckled her safety belt and was hanging her head and upper body from the passenger window.

For reasons unknown at this time, Alyssa reportedly veered slightly to the right and clipped a roadside mailbox. The mailbox made full contact with the head of the 25-year-old woman. As a result, the young woman suffered a catastrophic injury to her head.

The injury would ultimately prove to be fatal, and the woman was pronounced deceased on the scene at 4:36 a.m. by first responders.
Following the accident and death of her friend, 28-year-old Alyssa Vanorsdel was arrested.
She was booked into Christian County Jail on suspicion of felony DWI, resulting in a death.

However, Alyssa was released shortly after booking while prosecutors review the incident.

The patrol has not publicly identified the victim.

Teen Who Shot Her Mother as She Slept Admits She Abandoned Planned School Attack, Sentenced to life in Prison.

A Georgia teen who admitted she shot her mother in the back of the head while she slept has been sentenced to life in prison, with the possibility of parole after 30 years.

Lilyana Wagner, now 16, pleaded guilty to felony murder and aggravated assault in the November 2024 killing of her mother, 51-year-old Rachel Suzanne Wagner, according to Tifton Judicial Circuit District Attorney Patrick Warren.

Wagner was 14 when she allegedly killed her mother inside their Tifton home, then crashed a vehicle the following day.

At the crash scene, she told officers she lived alone with her mother.

Police later conducted a welfare check after Rachel Wagner failed to report to work and could not be reached.

Officers found Rachel Wagner dead in her bed from a single gunshot wound to the back of her head.

Investigators said the homeschooled teen’s online activity showed an obsession with mass shootings and school shooters.

Authorities also found she had been communicating through multiple apps with people online who allegedly encouraged violence.

“Lilyana, after she was taken to the Crawford County hospital, continued to communicate with these people after the murder of her mother,” the release states.

In a handwritten confession letter, Wagner wrote, “This whole thing was a last-minute choice. I was going to commit a school shooting at my old middle school but chose this instead.”

Prosecutors said she also identified six mass shooters as inspiration for what she called “the whole event.”

The weapon used in the killing had been legally purchased from a pawnshop, authorities said.

Rachel Wagner had allowed her daughter to keep the gun and ammunition in her bedroom.

Wagner also listed six different school shooters that inspired her, prosecutors said. “Although I didn’t commit a school shooting, the whole event was inspired by these people,” she allegedly wrote, per the release.

Beloved teacher with 25 years dedicated to children collapses suddenly while walking after work

A beloved teacher in Edinburg, Texas, suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm just as she was beginning her 25th year in education. Denise Pineda had finished her shift at Canterbury Elementary School on Thursday, August 20, and was walking through the parking lot toward her car when she suddenly collapsed. A colleague immediately called for help, and Denise was rushed to the hospital.

Doctors discovered that the aneurysm had caused massive brain damage and informed her family that there were no options to save her life. The news was especially difficult to comprehend because, according to her brother, Matthew Espinosa, just the day before, Denise had been exercising with her two children and was leading a completely normal life.

When the community learned of the tragedy, hundreds of students, parents, colleagues, and friends began arriving at the hospital to say their goodbyes. The crowd was so large that, according to her family, staff members even asked if Denise was a “movie star.” The answer was simple: “No, she’s simply a much-loved teacher.”

At least eight people, including a young brother and sister, were killed after a gunman opened fire at a house in Montana before the property was set ablaze.

Cops were called to the house in Billings just after 6 p.m. Sunday following reports of a shooting and family disturbance, reported the Billings Gazette.

Two of the victims have been identified locally as 12-year-old Charlotte Gheikere and her 15-year-old brother Landon.

“Our community lost two of its brightest lights, Landon and Charlotte, along with six other family members, in a senseless act of violence,” reads a GoFundMe set up by a loved one.

Landon was remembered on the fundraising page as a “loving, caring young man who was always willing to lend a hand to his family and neighbors.”

His sister was “preparing to begin seventh grade” and “had an angelic smile and loved posing for pictures,” the page reads.

Officers rushed to the scene and heard gunfire erupt from the back of the house, according to police.

They saw a man in the backyard of the already-smoking house, and then heard more shots ring out.

Just three minutes later, the home was engulfed in flames, severely hampering rescue efforts, according to Billings Police Department Assistant Chief Shawn Mayo.

“When the fire was observed in the structure, fire suppression efforts took priority as the fire blocked any reasonable attempt to rescue or recover victims,” Mayo told a news conference Monday.

“Multiple adults and multiple juveniles” died at the house, interim Yellowstone County Sheriff Kent O’Donnell told the same conference, adding that the identities of the victims will not be released for now.

“Because of the fire and obviously water that goes to suppress that fire, it’s going to slow our investigation of the crime scene recovery of evidence. So we ask for patience as we complete this investigation,” he said.

All of the victims perished at the scene, while the suspected killer died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound after being taken to a local hospital at around 6:48 p.m., according to authorities.

Yellowstone County Sheriff’s Office told CBS News that “the initial investigation shows that this event started as a family disturbance and was not a random act of violence where the parties were unknown to each other,” adding that “there is no further danger to the public.”

The three sisters injured in the horrific head-on collision that claimed the lives of five teenagers have ‘a long recovery ahead’, friends have revealed.

Although Niamh and Alma Kinsella and their younger sister Ella remain seriously injured, those close to the siblings are growing more hopeful the three young women, aged in their thirties and twenties, will make a full recovery.

Family and relatives are maintaining bedside vigils as medical teams at three Dublin hospitals – Tallaght University, St Vincent’s and Children’s Health Ireland – continue to care for Niamh, Ella, Alma and Alma’s seven-year-old son Yemi.

A friend told the Irish Mail on Sunday: ‘They have a long, long recovery ahead of them. 'One of them has spinal injuries and there are a lot of broken bones and young Yemi broke a leg.

'But people are relieved that none of them are in a brain specialist hospital so that means none of them are brain–damaged. God forbid there’s a change. We think they will recover but how long that is going to take no one knows. Their injuries may be life–altering but to the extent they may be life–altering, well, no one knows that at the moment.’

Another friend added: ‘All I’ll say is, it has been touch and go and they have moved from critical to seriously injured. There were surgeries during the week. Young Yemi has a broken leg and he asked for his cast to be painted red because he is a Manchester United supporter.’

The first person on the scene of the horror crash – which occurred in the early hours of last Sunday morning – was among the thousand or so people who gathered at St Clare’s church in Graiguecullen for a vigil on Friday evening to pray for the survivors’ full recovery.

Grace Kelly was also on the way to Dublin airport on Sunday and would have been the first car to arrive on the ramp leading to the motorway after the head-on collision. Others who attended the hour-long religious service included Alma and Niamh’s father Pat, their uncle John and their aunt Maura.

A friend explained: ‘Grace arrived before the ambulance or the paramedics and the guards told her that an accident had happened. She could hear the little boy screaming in the back seat. He has a broken leg so he must have been screaming in pain.

‘The two older girls were unconscious and the third woman was out of the car. If Grace was ten minutes earlier, it could have been her. There was nothing she could do for them because she isn’t a paramedic.’

Fast-moving wildfire in Reno, Nevada, forces tens of thousands to evacuate and devours over 15K acres.

A fast-moving wildfire grew nearly 50% in a single day as it bore down on Reno, Nevada, sending evacuation zones sprawling toward the city while flames burned closer.

The Hawk Fire has devoured 15,040 acres by Sunday afternoon, just a day after it was first spotted northwest of “The Biggest Little City in the World,” according to 8 News Now.

With the fire still at 0% containment, the danger crept closer as evacuation zones expanded south and east, and residents were urged to evacuate.

The Washoe County sheriff said the blaze was human-caused and encouraged 90,000 people to leave the area, the Associated Press reported.

It was a dramatic escalation from Saturday morning when the fire was first spotted around 11:30 a.m. off Hawk Meadow Trail, about a mile north of Cold Creek Trail in the Somersett area northwest of Reno.

Flames raced north and burned 10,523 acres by the end of Saturday. By Sunday, about 4,500 more acres had burned, pushing the total to 15,040 acres.

Nevada Gov. Joe Lombardo declared a state of emergency Saturday night, while the force battling the blaze swelled to 800 personnel.

The spreading emergency was reshaping life around Reno by Sunday night.
Washoe County canceled Monday classes as evacuations increased and officials sought to keep roads clear for emergency crews.

“The decision to close schools is due to evacuations, impacts on regional public safety resources, and to help keep roads clear for emergency vehicles,” the school district said in a social media post.

MOTHER KILLED HER YOUNG DAUGHTER WITH AT LEAST 40 BLOWS AND THEN REQUESTED PHOTOS WITH THE LITTLE GIRL’S BODY.

Jeanie Kassandra Ditty from North Carolina was found guilty of first-degree murder on Thursday and has been sentenced to life in jail without parole for the 2015 death of her daughter, Macy Grace Ditty.
Prosecutors said Macy suffered at least 40 separate blows before her death.

The 33-year-old’s fate has hung in the balance for over a decade after her daughter Macy Grace Ditty was rushed to hospital covered in bruises on December 2, 2015.
District attorneys revealed in a press release that the two-year-old had “suffered at least 40 separate physical blows” within the space of 24 hours and found extensive bruising and trauma.

Doctors discovered severe, non-survivable brain injuries and determined she had been seriously injured within the previous 8 to 24 hours.
During that time, Ditty was the child’s sole caregiver.
Macy died two days later.
“The only part of her body which didn’t have a bruise was part of her face,” Macy’s paternal grandmother Tina Goodwin said.

After her daughter’s death, Ditty contacted a photographer and requested “afterlife” photos with Macy. She reportedly told the photographer that her daughter had choked on a banana, suffered seizures, and died from a lack of oxygen to her brain.
The photographer contacted law enforcement.

The images Jo made for Ditty included Macy holding her mother’s hand as they walked through a cemetery.

“She told me her daughter had passed away by choking on a banana, and that choking gave her seizures which made her lose oxygen to the brain and then she passed away,” the photographer

In March 2016, the medical examiner ruled Macy’s death a homicide. Ditty turned herself in the next day.
The case went to trial in 2020, but the jury could not reach a unanimous verdict. A second trial began this month with 16 witnesses taking the stand.

After less than three hours of deliberation, jurors found Ditty guilty.
She was sentenced to life in prison without parole for the murder, plus an additional 157 to 201 months for child ab*se.
Macy was only 2 years old.

“Justice has finally been served,” Goodwin told CBS.
“She’s in heaven with God. She’s not broken. All her injuries healed. She’s running up there. She’s getting all the candy she wants and she’s smiling.

“All she ever wanted was love from her mother. All she got was in that grave over there.”

A MOTHER OF FOUR AND TEACHER DIES AFTER SUV CRASHES INTO BACKYARD POOL.

A terrible tragedy struck the Five Towns on Friday morning when a vehicle plunged into a backyard swimming pool in Hewlett, claiming the life of 40-year-old Allison Rahmani, a mother of four and longtime local educator.

Allison Rahmani was behind the wheel of a 2023 GMC SUV when the vehicle began careening along Elinor Road near Woodside Drive in Hewlett, Nassau County. Police said the SUV struck a tree and a parked vehicle before ultimately plunging into the swimming pool at her house.

The incident occurred at approximately 10:30 a.m. at a residential property in Hewlett, prompting a massive response from Nassau County Police, the Hewlett Fire Department and other emergency personnel.

Authorities said Rahmani had already been removed from the SUV before officers arrived. Police immediately began life-saving measures before she was transported for emergency medical treatment.

A source close to the family told JNS (Jerusalem News Syndicate) that Rahmani was able to call for help following the crash but later died while being transported to the hospital.

Rahmani was a mother of four and worked as a teacher and math coordinator at the Hebrew Academy of the Five Towns and Rockaway (HAFTR), where she was a member of the school community and dedicated her career to chinuch.

Her husband, Matthew Rahmani, serves as president of Irving Place Minyan, a Modern Orthodox synagogue in Woodmere.

News of her sudden death prompted an outpouring of grief from those who knew her.
“She was the most amazing person. I can’t believe she’s gone,” one person wrote in a tribute shared on Facebook.
Another remembered Rahmani as someone who always had “a smile” and time for a friendly conversation.

Salon AQUA also shared a heartfelt tribute, describing Rahmani as a “light” who was always appreciative and kind to staff, adding that she would be deeply missed.

Police have not said what may have caused Rahmani to lose control of the SUV or where she was headed at the time.
The crash remains under investigation.
