For about 40 years, I have been documenting the changes/conditions of a property that became very special to me as a youth. Since obtaining the drone, I have made it a mission to further document those changes through aerial photographs on a yearly basis.

I present to you this year's expedition to this place.

That special place is the property that once housed Conneaut Lake Amusement Park, in Conneaut Lake, Pa.

The property has changed immensely, but the lure of it and the lake has not waned.

It still draws me, as does the great people I have met along the way.

These are only moving pictures, what they say or mean to you is for you to determine.

Greetings!

Today we have a special episode that I am doing for a group that I believe is doing great, historical, preservation work.

I was given permission to fly the drone, and to photograph the premises. Having been a fan of the interurban routes, and their machinery, I found this place totally by accident.

I had planned to revisit Chippewa Lake Park, but then this popped up on the landscape, so I had to go.

What you will see is not necessarily railroad history, but interurban/traction/rapid line history.

The folks there at the Northern Ohio Railway Museum were very gracious with their time, knowledge, and patience so I hope that they find this video of use for their cause.

I hope you find it meaningful as well!

For today's episode, we explore the Ohio/Pennsylvania border and the markers used to designate them. In some cases they have been forgotten.

Travel from near Conneaut, Ohio to near East Liverpool, Ohio.

The Southern most border is actually the convergence of OH, PA, and WV...... but it is actually out in the Ohio River.

I have accumulated some material recently that I have decided to put together into a short presentation since it is still fresh.

In 2025, we paid several visits to Port Huron, Michigan, and I was able to grab some land and aerial footage of many vessels. Perhaps some of the best video was the arrival of the Paul R. Tregurtha to the Blue Water Bridge then making the swing around the bend of the river going South.

A few months later, in 2026, the vessel would arrive in the Port of Cleveland, Ohio, where I was able to collect even more footage and stills. It was a pleasure to be along side some other shipping industry imaging talent there. If you are viewing this, then you have most likely seen their work as well.

This presentation is my capture of both occasions for your viewing pleasure. There is no sound with this one, so find some of your favorite music and enjoy the trip.

Today we document a trip to Cleveland, Ohio, specifically the Tremont Neighborhood, in 2024.

A visit was made to the recently completed Jose Ramirez Field at Clark Field Park near the Steelyard Commons shopping center.

The field was sponsored by Guardians star 3rd baseman, Jose Ramirez, and Cleveland Guardians Charities. This is the third installation around the city.

Greetings!!

Today we venture back to July 31, 2024, and document the night time arrival of the Great Lakes Shipping Vessel - Philip R. Clark - to the Port of Cleveland, Ohio.

The Vessel is owned and operated by the Great Lakes Fleet out of Duluth, Mn. In my personal opinion, this is the sharpest paint scheme operating on the lakes.

The cargo this day was iron ore destined for the Cleveland Cliffs Steel Plant further down the Cuyahoga River. The larger ships drop their cargo here and smaller "river class" vessel's take it down to the plant.
