It's humpday which is the only day worthy to share this exciting news!
One of the things I love most about photography is never knowing where a single assignment might lead.
This spring, I had the opportunity to photograph K-State veterinary students and staff as they learned about camel medicine and handling. It was such a unique experience, and I was honored to be asked to document it.
Since then, those images have been featured in the K-State College of Veterinary Medicine magazine, on the K-State Veterinary Medicine website, and last week the story was shared in the university wide K-State email.
To top it all off, one of my favorite images from the day is now featured on the K-State homepage. Seeing a photo I took become the first image people see when they visit the university’s website is something I never imagined.
I’m incredibly grateful to Valeri Crenshaw for giving me the opportunity and for trusting me to capture such a memorable day, Joe Montgomery for writing an incredible article and keeping us updated on the exciting news and Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Kansas State University for continuing to use my images to tell the story of the amazingly beautiful Shamrock Farms camels and their incredible students and program. Thank you for the opportunity, it truly means so much.
Moments like these remind me why I love what I do. ❤️
