October 1rst Sunset in Michigan last night. Been a busy summer (including a road trip to Maine- pics to follow soon) and it seems crazy to be thinking about the holidays already...but here we go as the days pass by so quickly! Thanks for sticking with my page even in times of "silence" as they say. Have a great day and like the sunset below, let your light shine out there friends!

Memorial Day is always a very special, and in many ways, solemn day. I was able to attend both a special service at a local cemetery conducted by veterans and a parade honoring those who have made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. I am grateful for all the men and women who have given their lives on behalf of freedom for both us here in the USA but also defending those less able to do so around the globe. I also remember the countless family members and friends who have had to endure the loss of a beloved service member. We know that you know the pain of this more than anyone. Thank you.

Sharing a little peek into Jacob's senior session we had together recently. He is an outstanding young man who was a pleasure to work with and talk about things like his interest in working out, martial arts and Italian food :) Jacob, you did such a great job rolling with the flow and I wish you the very best as you move forward in life. Congratulations to you and your family....very well done!

So thankful to once again be able to work with this amazing family(High School senior #3). Josh was was pleasure to work with and I enjoyed hanging out with him, learning more about his post HS plans, what he is doing now for work(lifeguard!), and sharing in the excitement of his senior year. Best wishes Josh as you head off to Western Carolina in the fall. Can't wait to see what God has in store next for your life.
In addition to Josh's senior portraits, we also grabbed a few images of mom and dad to celebrate their anniversary! Yay!!! So Congratulations all around! Thank you for allowing me to be part of your family journey through the years. I am most grateful.

Final Basketball post of the 24/25 Season!

It's been a wonderful several years following Colleen through high school basketball and then more recently the last 2 years as a college player. She's been a big part of the Wake Technical Community College Eagles Women's team through her strong play, outstanding team spirit, and wonderful sportsmanship. Thanks for allowing me to be part of your basketball experience and I wish you all the best as you move forward in your life journey.

CONGRATULATIONS to Rebekah and her team (South Wake Sabres) on their 2025 NCHEAC State Championship. I've had the joy to cover Rebekah in multiple games again this year and can attest to the quality of individual, player and teammate she is. Congrats on an outstanding season and all the best as you finish up your Junior year. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your journey.

I would like to share a few images from my recent trip to Frankenmuth, MI ...the home of Bronners Christmas! Frankenmuth Michigan , Zehnder's of Frankenmuth and Zehnder's Snowfest. I had the pleasure of traveling there with wonderful friends and grabbed a few images along the way. The "Snowfest" involves huge snow sculptures as well as many smaller ice sculptures. We were there on Friday, and since sculpture judging wasn't until mid day Saturday, the work was only about half way done on the sculptures but I thought you might still enjoy seeing the process involved. They literally start with a huge block of snow! Go to the tagged link above for the Snowfest to see finished creations!

Ok Friends! Here is a FIRST for me and this page! FSP had the challenge of a new sport to shoot...GYMNASTICS. Wow! Amazing time capturing images of Tori working out and practicing at her gym. I am always grateful for opportunities to shoot with folks who are doing the things they love and work so hard at...this was no exception. So thankful that I was invited to be part of her day. I hope you enjoy the little peek into her workout. She is a very talented gymnast but even more importantly a very special person with a big heart. Congratulations Tori on all our hard work and accomplishments...best wishes as you continue to compete this season.
