Photos by Tate Kakitani I am a lifeguard turned photographer. I love making memories through pictures... Started shooting in August 2014.

Before I started shooting, I've worked as a snorkel instructor and deckhand/lifeguard on various boats on Oahu. Currently shooting for a Photography company on Oahu. I have shot many weddings and also shot at different beaches, chapels, and churches all over the island. I love making long lasting memories for people, and love shooting. Turning 37 means I’m getting forgetful

But year 36 was one for the books! On October 4th, I got to have a wedding with the woman of my dreams, in a place i’m so lucky to call home! Thank you to everyone who was able to celebrate with us! And to everyone that sent us all the love! Can’t wait to see what next year has in store!

Had to opportunity to shoot in my opinion Hawaii’s BEST BBQ “hands down” I ever had. Ribs, brisket, pulled pork all smoked over lychee wood for 12 hours! He is taking preorders every Saturday! So act fast! You can buy plates or buy meat by the pound. Super reasonable prices! Tell I sent you!!!

This is Serena

A few days ago, Serena was diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma. She is a 3 year old that will have to be going through all sorts of treatment/ therapy for the next 18 months.

To try and help out Serena, I will be shooting any children/family photos from now until further notice. 100% of the money will be going straight to her treatment.

The shoot will be about $150 for a 45-60min shoot. Location will be up to you. Please DM to book or for more information.

Got the chance to try out birria tacos. So might as well take pictures while I’m at it. 2020’s been rough on most of us, so supporting up and coming small businesses is where it’s at!
