Had a shutterbug friend who asked about getting some pics of the next spicy noodle I got. Chris Charanza Photography got some great shots and asked lots of great questions wanting to learn more about how to coexist with our slithery neighbors. This guy was only about 10” long. Same 🐍. It’s baby season!

Best tip I got from others that like to shoot pics of wildlife is to try to get down on eye level with the wildlife. Which I guess is good advice for shooting people pics too lol.

To the lay person all rattlers might sound the same, but they actually can sound different, depending on lots of things like how many segments on their rattle. Or are they in an enclosed space like a bucket. But especially the little guys, it’s often more of a buzz sound versus a loud rattle you’d think.

Thought the trunks of the Crepe Myrtle made for a nice framing effect. What say you?
