Some promises are best said to an audience of one🖤
Let’s talk about private vows 🤩
(calling all my shy brides & grooms😉 🎙️)
Private vows are a sweet way to take a moment of your wedding to bask in the excitement and intimacy of the vows you’re offering to one another. Here are a few ways they are distinct from traditional vows at the alter
✨Privacy: Expressing your deepest desires, promises, and hopes, away from the ears of a larger audience can lead to an authentic and memorable moment where the chaos of the day slips away and leaves you and your partner fully present and intimately focused on one another
✨Reduced Stress: if the thought of saying your affections and promises in front of a crowd makes you see stars..there’s a goooodd chance it will be a stressful blur on your wedding day. Just remember, It’s okay to keep it simple at the alter and to offer the more intimate parts of your promises alone if that will be more comfortable and calming to you 🖤
✨Reflection Time: Ceremonies have a beautiful orchestration of events, but with that order, it can tend to not leave much time after vows are exchanged for emotional connection or reflection before the next order of events.
Private vows allow the couple to reflect on the significance, depth, and excitement of their commitment to each other in flexible and contemplative settings. Giving them the freedom to express themselves and reflect for as long as they need.
Whether you choose traditional vows at the alter or a moment away from the eyes and ears of others, your vows should be comfortable, exciting and reflect you and your spouse!🖤
