M94 Croc’s Eye Galaxy. What gives it that ā€œeyeā€ appearance is the bright central core surrounded by a dense ring of star formation, where new stars are actively being born. At the very center lies a supermassive black hole, influencing the flow of gas and shaping the galaxy’s structure over millions of years.

Shot this using the Seestar S30 Pro. Definitely impressed with both its solar and lunar images so far. Something about lunar images that makes me smile. Can’t wait to really test this smart scope out once nebula season comes back around. But so far I’m enjoying what it’s able to do.

The stunning Sunflower Galaxy (M63) captured in incredible detail 🌻✨ Located in the constellation Canes Venatici, this flocculent spiral galaxy reveals its beautifully fragmented arms, glowing core, and subtle star-forming regions. Shot through deep-sky imaging, this target showcases delicate dust lanes and a textured structure that makes M63 one of the most visually unique galaxies in the night sky.

This image highlights millions of distant stars, cosmic dust, and the faint outer halo surrounding the galaxy—reminding us of the immense scale and beauty of the universe. A true gem for astrophotography and deep space exploration.

Tried out mosaic mode on the Seestar S30 Pro. This is just 1 hour of integration time on the Orion complex.

Smart telescopes are the way to go for beginners to learn with. Or even veterans who want a light weight portable rig that can go anywhere you go. It’s truly an all in one user friendly system.

Imagine what 4 hours would look like.

Our Star Up Close ā˜€ļø

My first detailed solar astrophotography image of the Sun captured with the SeeStar S30 Pro telescope, revealing the dynamic texture of the solar photosphere. This high-resolution view highlights visible sunspots and solar granulation across the glowing solar disk. Sunspots—cooler regions created by intense magnetic field activity—appear along the lower portion of the Sun, showing the constant motion and energy within our nearest star.

Bode’s Galaxy (M81) 🌌

Located about 12 million light-years away in Ursa Major, Bode’s Galaxy is a stunning grand-design spiral galaxy with a glowing golden core and sweeping blue spiral arms filled with billions of stars and interstellar dust. This deep-sky capture reveals the intricate structure and subtle star-forming regions that make M81 one of the most beautiful galaxies visible from Earth.

Betelgeuse — a red supergiant star in Orion, about 700 light-years away.
One day it will explode as a supernova… and we’ll see it shine brighter than the Moon.
We’re witnessing a giant nearing the end of its life. šŸ”„āœØ

What looks like a simple bubble in space… is actually a star unleashing unimaginable force.

The Bubble Nebula, located over 7,000 light-years away, is formed by a massive star blasting stellar winds at over 4 million miles per hour—carving a glowing sphere out of surrounding gas and dust.

And that ā€œbubbleā€?
It’s about 7 light-years across… large enough to engulf our entire solar system many times over.

Space isn’t silent.
It’s powerful. It’s chaotic. It’s violently beautiful.
