Since coming back to the states from Thailand i feel like my photography has been reinvigorated. So much of my time there I was deeply inspired on the everyday architecture of things that might be deemed as insignificant, but to me felt like what an alternate timeline could’ve looked like for the place of my families origin, Haiti.

Coming back to the US I have been trying to figure out ways to keep that same energy flowing. Living in rural Ohio, there’s only so much to do and so much to see. Especially in a place currently riddled with deep seeded hate for Haitian people. Anonymity remains important my work. So I’ve transferred my energy back to the basics. Flowers. Generally a photographers first subject when they start there journey. Still, gentle, and non judgmental.

But I didn’t want to just return to this subject . I wanted to breath new life into by manipulating them into something more. Organic in possibilities that only be shown with technology. Two spaces I that I’ve lived deep within.
