Happy Friday! We made it. One of my favorite things in Yellowstone, besides the bears are these incredibly resilient and rambunctious red dogs.

UPDATE: Crisis over. I didn't delete them, I realized it was a missing hard drive that I found on the floor this morning between the couch and end table. My weekend is all about solutioning backup organization! 🤗

You will never see these photos in print! Somehow when preparing my hard drives for Yellowstone, I deleted all my photos from October 2025 to May 2026.

No sunrise photos of Cannon Beach, no King Tides photos from last November, no tulips and hot air balloons from this spring and no photos from my Minnedota trip, no amazing bird photos I captured this spring.

I still have Alaska and Yellowstone, thankfully. Backup is high on my priority list for this weekend.

Photographers - if you have cloud solutions, let me know! I can't go through this again

Crying, not crying, yes, I am. 😫

There is more to Yellowstone than the wildlife. Here are some of the geothermal features that we saw, such an amazing place.

Also, if you look closely, I did sneak some wildlife in there. A killdeer was bathing in the hot springs. 😁📷

I am declaring today as Winged Wednesday. There are so many amazing large wild animals in Yellowstone. Today I am dedicating my post to the winged wonders that I ran into while in Yellowstone.

Ospreys of Yellowstone! This Osprey couple has been photographed by many, they are located right by a pullout in Lamar Valley area. I was lucky to be there when they were active in the nest.
