Lots to see in Hobart at the Data Center project this week!

The frame of a building is started, and there is a security gate at the Colorado St entrance. There is more defined drainage, and a retention pond. Many areas are starting to look like they could potentially be building pads.

Bird's Eye View Aerial Images is is in no way affiliated with the construction of the data center, and is merely filming to show the progress of the project.

Have you noticed that Bird's Eye View has been a bit quiet lately? That's because big things have been hatching around the nest, and a new drone was born! You'll immediately notice a difference, as the zoom levels are much higher, much more clear, and the drone holds off the wind better too.

We tested it today at the Hobart Data Center. This video exposes some of the kinks that need to be worked out, but we can't wait to see everything this new bird can do. Be on the lookout for new videos where we continue to push to find it's limits!

New updates at the construction site included signage along the Colorado St. Fence line, berms that appear to be for dust and noise mitigation, and more defined roads and possible building locations.

On an important side note: Bird's Eye View holds no view in favor of nor against this project, in spite of what may have inferred in a recent political post. Bird's Eye View has no ties to this construction project, nor to any politician, candidate, or people promoting or attempting to tear down any candidate. We are making no money off of it, and have not received anything from anyone who has shared in attempt of their own gain. In fact, we haven't even gotten a free-steak dinner for this series of videos. Further, we ask that you do not use our videos as hit pieces nor mud slinging material. That's not what they are. We simply enjoy flying, enjoy watching things get built, and making these videos allows us to do both, inform the public, and market what we are capable of as a company.

The City of Hobart will be the home of a new Data Center for Amazon. This controversial project has polarized the city, and surrounding towns, townships, and cities, due to the pro's and con's that come with a data center.

Bird's Eye View Aerial Images plans to visit the site frequently during construction, catching aerial images and video to show the construction process to the people of Hobart and its surrounding communities.

Updates this week include new drainage ditches, more defined paths and roads, and possible pads that could possibly be for buildings.

Bird's Eye View is in no way indicating opinion in favor of nor against the construction of this project, nor is it associated with it.

Bird's Eye View returned to Hobart this week to get a look at the Data Center Project on Colorado St. and 61st. More excavation has taken place, construction trailers brought in, and the massive size of this project is quickly becoming apparent. Every video, increasing amounts of footage need to be obtained from higher elevations to truly capture the size of the project.

Bird's Eye View Aerial Images has no affiliation to this project, and maintains neutrality in the debates for or against it. We simply love flying and showing the world a different point of view.

Every good drone pilot pushes themselves to be better and get more creative shots. One of my favorite shots is flying as fast as the drone can go, as low as possible, rising and falling with the movement of the ground.

This comes with obvious risk, and when you have been too lazy to clean up your yard after winter, it can go bad very quick.

Luckily, the only casualty of this crash was the lense photographers add to their cameras to account and adjust for sunlight.

The Hobart Data Center project is showing significant movement over the last few days. Several trees were removed at the north side at the Colorado St. entrance. Several more sections of fence were put up, as was signage on the fences. There were more roads throughout the plot, and more earth moving equipment.
