One thing about us, we're always down to try food from different cultures, and and did not disappoint. ❤️

It was also so much fun hosting this foodie meet-up with .nora . There's nothing better than bringing food lovers together, making new connections, and sharing amazing food and experiences with great people.

We ordered the Picadillo Pasta, Pollo Asado Pasta, Mofongo, and the Pollo Picado Egg Rolls.

Now let me tell you about my kids... they don't even like pasta (I don't know why because pasta is life 😂). They're rice kids through and through, so they ate every single piece of Tito's pollo and left the noodles for us 🙌🏼🙌🏾🔥.

The real surprise for me was the mofongo. I've had mofongo before and honestly thought it just wasn't my thing. Then I tried Chef Eric's version and whew... I finally got it. It was flavorful, comforting, and made with so much love that you could taste it in every bite. It completely changed my mind about the dish.

And those Pollo Picado Egg Rolls? Chicken, cheese, crispy goodness... say less. If there's an egg roll on Tito's menu, I'm probably ordering it. 😂

You can truly feel the love and care that goes into their cooking, and that's what makes a meal memorable.

What a night! 🍽️✨

We had an amazing time hosting the Comidazo Pop Up Foodie Meet Up at Alamar Kitchen in Oakland with .nora . From incredible food and meaningful conversations to networking with fellow foodies, creators, and entrepreneurs, this was exactly what community is all about.

Good food, good people, great energy, and plenty of new connections made throughout the night. Thank you to everyone who came out, shared a meal, and helped create such a positive atmosphere.

✨ Story Time Part 8 (Last part of my post opp update)

One of the hardest parts of recovery wasn’t the pain… it was watching everyone else eat while I was on a liquid diet 😩

Seeing my family eat burgers, tacos, and all my favorite foods while I was sipping protein shakes and water definitely tested me

But I had to remind myself that I chose this surgery. It wasn’t fair for me to expect everyone around me to stop eating just because I couldn’t

So instead of focusing on what I couldn’t have, I tried to focus on why I started this journey in the first place

Recovery isn’t just physical. A lot of it is mental too!!!

Another day at the Fair making memories with the family. ❤️

The kids had an amazing time checking out all the farm animals, riding the rides, and of course eating their way through the fair. One of our favorite moments was watching Le le serve as the Flag Girl in the P*e Wee Rodeo. Seeing her out there with so much confidence made this mama proud.

The Solano County Fair is more than rides and food. It's about family, community, and making memories together. From the livestock exhibits to the midway and all the fair food in between, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

The Solano County Fair is officially open and this has always been a family tradition for us. Back when our older kids were little, opening day at the fair was how we knew summer had officially arrived. Fast forward to today, and now we’re making those same memories with our little ones.

From the rides and fair food to the livestock exhibits and all the family fun, there’s something special about continuing traditions and watching a new generation experience the same excitement.

We caught up with Ebony and talked about her favorite memories from the 707 Week Cook Off, what life has been like since the competition, and what's new now that she's added a food truck to her business.

She also shared what being part of the 707 community means to her and how the support from the community has been part of her journey. ❤️
