Some moments leave you completely without words… and this is one of them.

I don’t understand why things like this happen, and honestly, I don’t think we’re meant to always understand. But I do know this, God is still good, even when our hearts are broken and our minds can’t make sense of it.

Please lift up the family of Zack, a senior at LHS. His infectious smile is something so many will never forget, especially me. Despite the circumstances he was in, his smile still lit up every room.

While so many hearts are grieving here, we can hold onto the truth that Zack is healed now.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7

There are no words big enough for this kind of loss, but I pray his family feels surrounded by love and comfort in the middle of unimaginable pain.

Praying for his family, his friends, and everyone who loved him. May God wrap His arms around each of you and carry you through the days ahead.

Hey yall! Here’s a little awkward about me that absolutely none of you asked for. 😉 I’m the photographer who will probably hype you up louder than your best friend, fix your kid’s bow mid-session, and make at least one joke about how awkward we all feel in front of a camera (because SAME).

I’m a South Georgia mama of three, (Sophia, Cannon, and Leighton) which basically means I’ve tried all the tricks…handing out snacks, bribing toddlers, and saying “just one more, I promise” even though we all know that’s a lie. I love capturing real moments. All of the crooked smiles, the wild toddlers, the families who show up in the car arguing and leave laughing (it’s a universal experience, don’t worry).

Photography is my fun escape and my happy place. I’m obsessed with heirloom portraits, soft light, chubby baby cheeks, and the kind of family photos that feel warm and REAL. Not stiff, not boring, just genuine connection and personalities. If your kid wants to show me their favorite toy in the middle of the session? Perfect. If your husband looks like he’d rather be literally anywhere else? I’ve got tricks for that too.

Outside of photography, I’m a wife to a cop, a lover of camping, softball weekends with our friends, and someone who somehow manages to juggle mom life, a full time office manager, chaos, and owning a camera without losing my mind (most days). I drink too much coffee, stay up way too late editing, and will 100% get all giddy over a picture of someone else’s family.

And if your kids act wild during photos? Don’t apologize. 😝
