Melia knew she wanted all the beauty Cranbrook House and Gardens has to offer - the florals, water, architecture, and that dreamy golden hour. ☀️ plus, we wanted to mix it up with a little city vibe, so we did both.

What I thought was extra special was her and her mom had dinner reservations afterwards to continue her special day. Perfect, but more importantly, core memories + plus gorgeous, senior portraits.

Real talk ⬇️

Can we take a minute and talk about being postpartum and getting your photos done? Some moms tell me they need to wait and see how they look and feel. Mama, I’ll be the honest one with you… you won’t feel like doing it. I’m know you won’t.

BUT I will also tell you this - it’ll feel *amazing* to shower, put makeup on and do your hair. You’re going to feel like you again. And that gorgeous, postpartum friendly dress? Ok, queen. ✨

I didn’t even talk about how you’ll look back on the photos and be beyond happy you got in the pictures with that beautiful babe you grew and birthed.

Moms, do it. You’ll be forever grateful that you did. 😘

Welcome Eraaj. 💙 He’s the perfect addition to this beautiful family and I already know these brothers will be best buds!

We went with the majority of Eraaj’s newborn session to be a lifestyle newborn session. Our focus was on the family, and they went with two different looks - I absolutely fell in love with both! And of course, we sprinkled in some posed newborn portraits, too. 🫶

Charlotte turned one! 🎉🥳 I swear, when your baby turns one it’s the most exciting birthday, but it’s also a farewell to babyhood. Suddenly they’re considered a toddler and you’re over here like… what?! 🥹

If you’re a mama, I know you get it.

I always like to document some of that last bit of babyhood in the one year sessions for you. Before you know it, they’re walking, talking and going potty like a big kid.

Savor those precious days. They really do go fast (but also, it’s absolutely awesome to see them grow and develop into their own little person!).
