My beautiful friend Photography by Lexi Mire and I did some exploring last week at Big Talbot Island, and partook in some much needed self portrait therapy. For me, at least, it was exactly the push I needed to help me get back into shooting pictures that have much more of a concept behind them, and I'm super excited to try to push myself to start shooting more!

I have been so uninspired lately, both with writing and with photography, and now I feel like I will never stop creating. Here's to my artist friends who have pulled themselves out of month long creative ruts! It is totally possible with the right amount of push :)

In the journal: I got to work with this lovely lady while I was visiting my hometown this summer, and I had a blast doing so. Thank you for the kindness and massive amounts of support you all have shown me over the last year. There's so much more to come
