Finding my way back to the joy and passion of creating again.
As many of you know, I stepped back a lot from photography over the last four years especially after my mom received her terminal diagnosis. She was my biggest supporter, my cheerleader in everything I created.
Now, I feel ready for a gentle return. One foot in front of the other. I want to photograph the things that bring me joy again. I’ve started by revisiting creative children’s work, and those sessions are still among my top five favorites, right alongside anything vintage, teens, underwater, cancer, and of course, dogs. Those are the shoots where I feel the most free and creative, both behind the camera and in the editing room.
When my mom became ill, I also stepped away from my studio time. I no longer have a studio space, and bringing that back is something I’ll consider further down the road.
For now, I’m simply ready to rediscover my joy and passion, slowly and intentionally. I’ll be posting open themed sessions as I dream them up.
If you’d like to book another type session, please feel free to reach out. I’ll be taking them on a very limited basis, but I’m excited to create again.
Thank you all for your support and patience during this chapter of my life.
