Kaitlyn was such a joy to photograph for her UNR grad portraits! She’s an absolute sweetheart and we had a blast working our way around the South quad and then heading downtown to get some iconic Reno arch photos 💙🎰

I had the honor of photographing this lovely USC Master’s of Social Work grad earlier this month!

We were sooooo blessed with a gorgeous spring day in between crazy stormy weather (and me being sick - boo!!) ✨ But it all magically worked out the way it was meant to be 🙌

My favorite moment was when Chloe popped some champagne to celebrate 🍾 and I love that we also got to get family photos of her troop together 🫶

In February, I had the chance to step away for a little change of scenery and attend the Senior Style Guide CEO+ Retreat & Shootout in Rancho Cordova, California, and it was such a fun and inspiring experience.

From styled studio shoots and creative lighting setups to educational sessions and fresh inspiration, this retreat really stretched me creatively in the best way. I loved getting to create with beautiful pieces from Lacey’s amazing style closet, collaborate on an outfit challenge with my group, and spend time photographing alongside so many talented photographers.

I didn’t document nearly as much of the educational side as I should have, but I came home feeling so inspired and full of ideas. I also got to enjoy some good food, a little shopping, late-night editing at the hotel, and FaceTimes home with my husband and kids because I definitely missed them while I was away.

The final shootout day was such a highlight, and I had the best time working with Alicia, the models, and seeing Lacey and Carissa in action. So grateful I got to be part of this experience, learn from such talented creatives, and come home excited to make meaningful improvements in my business.

Grateful for opportunities like this that push me, inspire me, and remind me how much I love this work ✨

Danika and her family planned her PhD grad/family session for after the commencement ceremonies - and what an amazing idea that was!! The UNR campus was so quiet and peaceful - like it existed just for Danika and her beautiful family 💙🎓

We got to freely roam the quad and not have to fight over photo locations (which truly there are endless spots to take photos - but a few are REALLY popular).

I had photographed Danika’s extended family a few years ago, and it was do special seeing how much her kiddos have grown up already 🥹

Retouching is not one-size-fits-all.

Every client has different preferences, different features, and different comfort levels with what they want edited or left alone.

My goal is never to make you look like someone else. It’s to make sure you still look like you - in a polished, natural, honest way.

I keep skin looking like skin, pay attention to the little distractions, and customize retouching based on the person in front of my camera.

Because your images should feel personal to you ✨

Time for Laina’s grad feature from her session this past fall on the most STUNNING day! We spent part of our session at UNR, followed by a trip out to Sand Harbor ✨🌊

Laina is such a sweetheart and I loved spending the afternoon with her 💙 She had the cutest white dress (with Marilyn Monroe vibes - especially with the wind 💨) for our UNR portraits, and then wore a flowy top and skirt for the Tahoe portion with pretty feminine details. They were both fantastic outfits for adorning with her stoles, cap & gown.
