SCAA loves Plein Air experiences. We have two annual competitions with the second one at next Saturday’s September 12 Art at the Springs event at Thurman Springs Park with award certificates from Digital Arts Studio.

Our members and volunteers have recently started an SCAA Facebook group for Plein Air opportunities at venues in our communities. SCAA’s goal is to expand the fun and positive experiences of Plein Air to our spectators, art supporters and especially to our community artists.

Whether you are a competitive Plein Air artist, a first timer, a student, a senior or someone taking live painting experiences to a new environmental level, join us.

- South Cobb Arts Alliance volunteers were elated when Barry Glustoff (foreground) agreed to share his time, knowledge and experience with us as juror for the 2026 . Barry is the founder, owner and manager of , a well-known source of high-quality art printing in the Atlanta region. He is very much active and involved in the greater Atlanta arts community with eclectic tastes and a clear fondness for art of all types.
