📸 A milestone for me as a photographer!

I’m incredibly proud of this image—my very first 6×17 panoramic photograph of Pittsburgh, captured with my Shen Hao panoramic film camera.

This photograph was made on film, carefully developed, and then scanned from the negative using my new scanner. Seeing the final result come together has me even more excited about the possibilities of panoramic photography.

There’s something special about slowing down, composing on film, and creating an image one frame at a time. This is just the beginning, and I can’t wait to share more from this journey.

Some evenings remind you why you carry a camera.

Standing in Gloucester Harbor, looking toward Ten Pound Island Lighthouse, the clouds suddenly opened and the sky filled with incredible light and color. For a few brief moments, everything seemed to stand still. The water reflected the sky, the harbor was calm, and it felt like heaven had come a little closer.

These are the moments I love most—not planned, not expected, just a gift from nature.

Jonathan Run Falls – Ohiopyle State Park, Pennsylvania

One of the things I love most about photography is finding places that seem untouched by time.

The sound of rushing water, fresh spring greens, and the quiet beauty of Jonathan Run Falls made this scene impossible to pass by. I spent time simply watching the water flow before making the photograph.

Moments like these remind me why I continue to explore and create images that bring a sense of calm and connection to nature.
