She’s the one who always shows up.
The one who sends the flowers, remembers the little things, and somehow makes everyone in her life feel seen and loved.
And in the middle of chasing a dream that took years of sacrifice, she’s also been the most incredible mom, wife, and friend. The kind that gives everything she has and still somehow has more to give.
Watching her step into this moment—into everything she’s worked for—was beautiful, in a way I can’t fully put into words.

Time is such a thief.
I don’t usually share much of my personal story on here, but this memory popped up today from 16 years ago—and I couldn’t scroll past it.
Back then, I was taking a photography class at a small college in San Diego… Calie was about two years old then, What most people don’t know is that she’s the reason I ever picked up a camera in the first place.
I just wanted to freeze time. To hold onto the little moments that felt like they were slipping through my fingers even then.
And now here we are—16 years later—and she’s a senior, getting ready to step out into the world.
Meanwhile, I’m over here wondering how it all went by so fast… and feeling so incredibly grateful that I chose to document ever part of it. Because if time is a thief, photos are how we steal a little bit of it back. 🤍

God moves mountains, he opens and closes doors that aren’t meant to be open. Sometimes the lessons are hard but when you come out the other side and see his beauty and grace it’s a beautiful thing.

You know what’s a good day? A day that includes Margo cuddles and if you know you know! I’ve gotten a couple great days the past couple weeks of cuddles so now I’m blessing your newsfeed with all the cuteness you’re welcome 💁‍♀️

Just a couple announcements! First Happy happy first birthday kainen i cant believe your already one! Two I may have taken the rest of this homemade cake and ate the bottom on the way home instead of throwing it away 🤣 homemade is always better then store bought and I have zero regrets 🙃

ALSO I’m out of town all weekend in Nashville! I will answer texts and emails when I get home! 🏠
