From epic valley views to a private helicopter ride, secluded mountain top exploring, an intimate ceremony at Lago di Braise, a hike around the lake and two custom-designed sentimental wedding tattoos, G + B did it ALL for their 2 day elopement adventure in Italy...and dang, was it GOOD.

We asked them why they chose to go all-in on a big multi-day wedding adventure in Italy (the Dolomites specifically!) rather than having a big, traditional wedding back home. Here's what they said:

"We wanted a wedding that felt intentional, personal, and completely unique - something that reflects our love story, not just tradition. "When it came time to plan our wedding, a big traditional wedding didn’t appeal to us because they’re all too cookie cutter, feel the same, expensive for no reason and boring. We wanted to do something that was more focused on us rather than being about entertaining all of the guests, and have the day to be truly about each other, while doing something really epic since we both love a good adventure."

It's safe say they fully carried out their wedding day vision for an epic, intimate, adventurous and non-traditional day together to celebrate becoming husband and wife. They shared a private ceremony at Lago di Braise in Italy with their closest family members to witness, followed by exchanging private vows with one another in front of the most scenic mountain backdrop in the Dolomites. D + L then decided to end their day the most epic way possible, by viewing the Dolomites from above via helicopter (including a remote + private touchdown at the tallest mountain point in all of the Italian Alps)

D + L pursued THEIR dream Italy intimate wedding day - and had the most incredible experience together as a result.

The best part about eloping in Olympic National Park?

You can access majority of the area, ALL year long.

There might be some misty rain or even a chance of flurries over the winter and early summer, but unlike most national parks that time of year in the PNW, you can adventure to multiple locations without needing to worry about road closures due to weather. It’s the perfect place if you’re looking for a rainforest + coastal elopement spot, when most areas are inaccessible.
