Running around the studio? Normal.
Asking for snacks? Normal.
Wanting to do their own thing? Normal.
A mid-session meltdown? Also normal!!!!!
(Trust me when I say, we’ve seen it all🤣)

One of my favorite things about our studio in Old City is getting to create a space for parents that feels like you can actually exhale when you walk in.

It’s light-filled, calm, beautiful, and designed for families in every season. We have a curated client wardrobe, professional hair and makeup, plenty of room for little ones to run around, and everything we need to make your session feel relaxed and intentional.

And while our studio is here in Old City, families come to us from all over Philadelphia, the Main Line, Bucks County, Delaware County, South Jersey, and beyond.

I’ve been talking to quite a few expecting mamas lately who are either getting close to their due dates or have already welcomed their sweet babies. 🤍

And listen, I am always so happy when families reach out wanting to document these precious chapters. Better late than never!

BUT… consider this your little PSA, expecting mamas: the best time to reach out about your maternity or newborn session is as soon as possible, ideally around 15–20 weeks.

Here’s why:

#1️⃣: Availability

We can’t always accommodate last-minute scheduling, and our calendar is currently filling 6+ months out.

Planning ahead gives us the best chance of scheduling your sessions during the ideal timeframes for your due date: maternity around 28–32 weeks and newborn around 2–4 weeks after baby arrives.

#2️⃣: Intention + Planning

Photographs that resonate with you on a deeper level don’t happen by accident.

They come from having a photographer who takes the time to know you - your family, your values, your home, and the way you want this season of life to feel when you look back on it years from now.

Before I ever pick up my camera, we’re meeting for coffee/tea for your planning + styling consultation. My stylist is curating looks specifically for you, we’re sourcing pieces, talking through locations and details, and even looking at the walls in your home so we can design artwork that belongs there.

You have time to dream.
Time to be thoughtfully guided.
Time to enjoy the process.

Because I don’t want to simply give you beautiful photographs to post on the gram (although we love a good social media moment)

I want to create artwork that brings you back to this season, long after the tiny clothes have been packed away and your baby isn’t so tiny anymore.

Pieces that will bring you JOY every single day!!!!!!

Maternity leave update ✨

December 1st, I’ll be stepping away from the studio for a little as we prepare to welcome baby #2! 🤍

During my leave, my associate photographer will be taking care of our more time-sensitive sessions for Bump to Baby clients and expecting past clients only - so your families can still have your most important moments cohesively documented while I’m away.

For everyone else, we have *just* a few dates remaining for family, maternity, and newborn sessions in October + November, and we’re already booking into February + March!

If you’re expecting or still need to reserve your fall or spring session, don’t wait to reach out! We are *almost* sold out for 2026!

This session was one for the books. 🤍

Ben surprised Aubreney with a maternity session for her birthday, and when I tell you it was a surprise, I mean she didn’t even know where she was (or who I was!) when she walked through the door. 😂

When she put the pieces together, she burst into tears, and it was such a special moment to witness.

We had her favorite flowers waiting, their outfits planned, and their session timed so they could head straight to dinner reservations right afterwards 🥹

Something I strive to create for parents, especially mom, is a space where they can completely let go, be present, and enjoy their family.

And honestly, my greatest partner in creating that experience for mom is… DAD 👏🏼

I think so many of us moms carry this constant expectation to manage everything: the schedule, the kids, everyone’s moods, what needs to happen next… all of it.

So when mom gets to step out of that role for a little while and feel genuinely cared for, relaxed, and at ease, it changes everything. And you can feel it in the whole family.

Dads, take note. 😉 More of this, please.

These sessions are part of our Bump to Baby experience because, as a mother and doula, I know how precious those tender early moments are… and how quickly they become a blur.

Expecting mamas, I see you. 🤍

If you’re due in 2026, we have *just* a few availabilities remaining for 2026 due dates! & We’re already booking spring 2027 maternity and newborn sessions.

As someone who is currently pregnant and planning for a new baby myself, I can tell you: planning ahead makes all the difference!!!

Your maternity window is short. Your newborn’s first weeks are even shorter. Once those dates are gone, they’re gone.
