Hello from above, Gastonia

Check out a few images offering a small look at the visual work behind our newest Port City Heights special that we just released on our YouTube Channel.
We recently took our cameras across Gastonia, capturing the city from perspectives that reveal its scale, history and often-overlooked beauty.

We went everywhere! From the symmetry of CaroMont Health Park and the railroad lines cutting through the city to downtown streets and peaceful green spaces, every frame we carefully composed to help tell Gastonia's story and set the table for the future.

Gastonia is a city deeply shaped by its textile heritage. That history remains visible in places such as Loray Mill, while downtown investment, parks, baseball and new development point toward an entirely new chapter. Now it has emerged as one of Charlotte's hottest suburbs, making a re-emergence.

We just wrapped production on the full documentary, and it is officially available to watch on YouTube.
Swipe through for a preview of our photography, then experience the complete journey through Gastonia on the Port City Heights YouTube channel.

You're looking at American soil.

No passport required.

This is St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands and somehow places like this are sitting right in America's backyard.

Turquoise Caribbean water. Mountains dropping straight into the sea. Homes carved into the hillsides. Sailboats scattered across the bays. Tiny islands stretching toward the horizon.

But St. Thomas looks completely different when you leave the ground.

These are a few more Images we captured while flying over the island, and this is exactly why we started Port City Heights in the first place.

There are places you can visit.

And then there are places you need to see from above.
