People ask photographers if we ever stop looking for pictures.

The answer is... not really.

Even on an "off" day with nothing but my phone in my hand, I'm still chasing light, looking for interesting perspectives, and noticing the little details—like this sunflower and the tiny butterfly resting below it.

A camera doesn't create the vision. It just captures what your eyes have already found.

Sometimes the quiet moments are the ones that speak the loudest. 🤍

I was so excited to find out that one of my photographs received the Pause Award — recognizing an image that makes people stop, look a little longer, and feel something.

As a photographer, there is something so special about knowing an image connected with someone. Not because it was the biggest or loudest moment… but because it captured a small piece of beauty worth noticing.
This little seagull became more than just a photo — it became a reminder that even the simple moments can leave an impression; and if you know my love for the beach you know how special this image was for me to capture. 🌊

Life has a funny way of reminding us to slow down when we least expect it. 💛

As many of you know, life has been lifing lately, and I have some upcoming hip surgery and recovery ahead of me. Because of that, I will not be booking any photography sessions for the foreseeable future.

This was not an easy decision (because capturing your memories is something I truly love), but right now I need to give my body the time and care it needs.

Thank you so much for your patience, kindness, and support. I’m so grateful for every family, senior, and client who has trusted me to capture their special moments. 📸

I’ll be back behind the camera when the time is right, and I can’t wait to create more memories with you then. 🤍
