🤎 VIRGINIA, I’M COMING BACK! 📸🍂

I’m so excited to officially share that I’ll be returning to Virginia October–May while my fiancé is back for another hockey season (Norfolk Admirals!)

Last season was my first time spending an extended amount of time in Virginia, and one of my absolute favorite parts was getting to meet so many incredible families, couples, seniors, and little ones through my photography. I truly adore the clients I met while I was there, and I’m SO excited to see some familiar faces again and hopefully make lots of new ones this season. 🥹

Hey, my MA peeps! Sarah McCarty Photography here!

I have just a few spots left for my open field fall minis, AND I just released something different…EARLY tree farm minis! 🌲

These will be my last mini sessions in the area before I head back to Virginia for the hockey season (don’t worry, I’ll be back again by May 2027!), so if you’ve been meaning to get updated family photos, this is your time!

And the best part? You don’t have to freeze for your photos! 😂 We’re getting these done while the weather is still actually enjoyable, instead of waiting until it’s 35° and everyone is shivering through their smiles.

Plus, booking early means you’ll have plenty of time to get your photos back and order those holiday cards before the Christmas rush.

🎓 Senior Snap Sessions are just $100 and include a 10-minute session with 10 edited digital images, making them a perfect option for seniors who want a simple, stress-free way to capture this exciting milestone.

Well! It’s about time I introduce myself again because it’s been a minute since I last did that. So hi, I’m Sarah! The face behind the camera!

I’m 26 years old, and completely self-taught. I graduated college with a M.Ed, and started teaching while doing photography part-time. What started as a fun little side gig turned into my dream career quickly. Now, I’ve been running this photography business full-time for the past 3 years.

I’m based in Tyngsborough, Massachusetts, but throughout the year I spend a lot of time in other states with my boyfriend Brehdan while he pursues his career playing professional hockey. In each place we’ve been, I’ve gotten to photograph so many amazing people, created lifelong friendships, and it’s allowed my business to grow.

When I’m not behind the camera (or at the rink), you can usually find me searching for a local coffee shop, spending time with my family, editing while snuggled up with my cats, or planning Breh & I’s next trip. We’re heading to St. Lucia in a few weeks & I can’t wait 🌴 ✈️
