I've known Carly for what seems like forever; she was basically a little sister to me during my high school years ....so it meant a lot that she asked me to capture these images of her and her son - and Carter even took over the camera and got an awesome picture of his mom (last image in the gallery). There's something powerful about an image of yourself taken from the point of view of your child

So happy I decided last minute to throw a Christmas Mini together - this lady right here asked if I was doing one, and it gave me some motivation to get moving on it ... just need a little motivation sometimes!!! 😘 And I just love how these minis turned out

I don't know if I've ever been more excited about cancelled plans lol. We had a date set for the session, and we had the most beautiful snowfall fall but by the time evening came around, it was all melted, and our original planned location didn't look very good as all the leaves had fallen. So we waited for a better day, and in the meantime, Brittany came up with a new idea, and it turned out so perfectly

Fall is my favorite season - the changing colors and the golden sunsets. I consider myself blessed to be able to spend so many Fall nights outside watching the sunset with so many fun families 🧡💛🤎 Big thanks to this family for always being willing to try my crazy ideas. This sunset picture is one of my favorites for sure. Also, thanks to my friend and client for letting me use her beautiful property so often!

This session was a very cold day with a bitter wind..... compared to this morning, it probably actually felt like summer 😁🤣 Perspective is a funny thing. I will say, these guys are all tough b/c the cold didn't bother them one bit. I'm pretty sure I was the only one complaining lol. I loved Mom's idea for the picture of Dad with the kids and their horses 🖤🩶🤍 Through church, Awana, and youth group, I've gotten to know this family pretty well over the past year..... a great, caring, and giving family! Blessed to know you guys - thanks for inviting me in to capture your family at this stage of life!!
