It has been an amazing fall of photo sessions!!! I am truly grateful for this season of life and work, and I am trying my hardest to soak up every second! Photographers have a unique job in that our busy work season coincides with the busiest season of the year for family events and holidays! Every single session this fall has turned out so beautiful because of the incredible families that I get to work with! It has also been so much fun getting to shoot at new locations this year! I absolutely love this session of the beautiful Sayler family photographed at the Ogie Farms Greenhouse! It was my first time shooting there and it was amazing! Not only was it a beautiful location but the Ogren family was so sweet and welcoming! I cannot wait to shoot there again! I know our little photography community is so grateful for the families who have opened up their land and created unique spaces for us to photograph families!

In my 12-year career, I've had the privilege of capturing many amazing moments, but photographing the Petty family was one of the most emotional photo sessions I have been a part of! I have known Nichol for over 25 years and I have cheered her on through many seasons of life! Everyone who knows her absolutely adores her, and we've all been rooting for her to find her happy ending! I was moved to tears photographing her with Will and Knighton because right there in front of my camera was everything we have ever wanted for her! And I can honestly say that I have never seen her more radiant and happy! Motherhood looks beautiful on you, Nichol!

And then there is Will... goodness he is just wonderful too! They truly bring out the best in each other! He was just smitten with Knighton and it was so amazing seeing him gush over his baby boy!

Knighton is the perfect miracle this family needed and it is such a joy watching them begin their "parenthood era" together. Here are just a handful of my favorites from Knighton's newborn session! Cheers to your happy beginning Petty family!!!

(and I just realized this is the first session I have posted in three years 😫. Yes I have still very much been working! I just haven't had the mental space to keep up with the craziness that is the Meta universe 🤪😂)

October is the month 2020 needed! The joy I have photographed over the past few weeks is indescribable! Brand new babies, beautiful families, and this amazing wedding! October is always nonstop for photographers but this year I have really tried to breath in every second of it!

Trying to pick a few portraits to post as sneak peeks for Mallory and Harrison was nearly impossible! They cannot take a bad photo! And it is not just because they are photogenic, it is that their wonderful hearts and personalities and the love they have for each other shines through in every single photo! If you could pick a dream couple (with dream families) to work with... it would be these two! Thank you Mallory and Harrison for letting us be a part of your special day! After a long break, I am excited to be back on social media! 2020 has been extra rough on our family. Now that my kids are back in school, I can finally see the light at the end of this insane tunnel! Having my normal work hours back is everything! Moving and Juggling work and kids 24/7 for the past five months has been a huge challenge! But now we are in our new home and my kids are at their new school and life is sure looking up at the Lassiter house! Fall 2020 we are ready for you!!!

I photographed the most beautiful milestone sessions right before all the craziness hit! Like a lot of mommas, I was suddenly trying to run a business from home while simultaneously homeschooling (which also means no childcare to give me a break so that I can work... I mean WHAT). It has been a constant struggle! It has been so comforting to see all the other work from home mom's posting their frustrations to remind me that I am not alone! We are all in this together!!! We have also been living with my inlaws for the past year and a half while selling our old home and trying to find a new one (spoiler we are closing on our new home in two weeks. Praise Jesus!) so we have all been on top of each other upstairs in a tiny space. Being quarantined while living in someone else's home is an entire new level of insanity! So I have pretty much felt like I am stuck in a circus of craziness! We are finally getting our bearings and my husband and I have figured out a routine to allow both of us to rotate who has the kids so that we can both work. So excited to be getting back in the swing of things with my work! It is my happy place! Now here is a photo of the cutest little sweetie!!! You guys!!! Photography has been added to the revised Oklahoma Essential Business List! We can start shooting again!!! We will continue to follow social distancing guidlines while shooting sessions! Working on an e-mail right now to send out to my spring sessions! My heart is so happy!!! (just as happy as sweet Lillian is in this photo!!!)

Halfway through this beautiful season of family photos!!! As busy and crazy as it is, I try to take in every single moment with these amazing families and truly treasure how blessed I am to have this job!!! I can sleep in January right?!?!

I don't even know where to begin with how much I adore this family! I have photographed them for 7 years now!!! You will not find more kind and "real" people than Ben and Jessica! They are passing on those traits to their precious kids too! Their session on their land was so much fun!!!

Hi!!! I am back from a much needed social media hiatus (not really on purpose life just got super crazy there for a while)! My kids are back in school and we are all loving the structure and routine (and I am loving my regular work hours)! I have so many amazing and beautiful photos from this summer to share!!! But wanted to give a quick update on fall!

My amazing and precious community of clients sold out three months of sessions in a matter of minutes on Monday evening! I was in tears over their love and support! Tears streaming down my cheeks and blubbering like a baby! It has been an emotional summer and to be a part of something so precious and sacred had my heart overflowing with emotion! This little community has become so special to me! They have all become friends and it is something I could have never dreamt up on my own. God has orchestrated every second of these past 9 years by putting these incredible families in my path! With this being said, I will not be able to take any new families this fall. I do have one Senior spot for November and am booking January, February and March newborn due dates!

I could not be more excited about fall being right around the corner! Getting to make my art during such a beautiful time of year with the families I love the most, my cup runneth over!!!
