Welcome home Artemis 2!

Ryan's Foto Friday: Artemis Returns Special Edition

Last Wednesday Artemis climbed on fire and smoke to the heavens! Witnessing a 322ft tall rocket take off with 8.8 million pounds of thrust was an incredible experience. Knowing that 4 humans were on top and it was heading to the Moon, then watching them fly by the Moon just a few days later was indescribable. This evening those 4 astronauts return home to Earth.

Continuing to work on reviewing my pictures from launch day and just found that I captured the Booster Separation! It was slightly obscured by a cloud, but still pretty incredible since it was 30-40 miles down range by this point in the launch.
