The KVOO Broadcast Center housed both KVOO Radio and KVOO-TV Channel 2 in the same building and had a formal opening on December 5, 1957. It featured multiple television and radio studios, newsrooms and even an outdoor studio on the rooftop.

His two-part series features both historical composite and modern time-lapse works of notable Tulsa landmarks and sites.

One of the works depicts downtown Tulsa in both the past and present with a black-and-white archive photo of residents crossing the street during Downtown Tulsa Day in 1956. The historical image is superimposed onto a modern-day photo McNicholas took of the intersection and surrounding buildings.
