Senior Sunday!
When I asked Ella what she wanted to bring with her and she said a bouquet, her guitar and her Bible, I knew we were going to have an amazing shoot! Ella has the sweetest smile and just radiates light and love. I can’t wait to see everything this beautiful girl, and future nurse, does in this world!

Golden light, fall in the desert, and the sweetest family. ❤️
The last time we did pictures, both of these precious kiddos had all of their baby teeth! Now they’re well on their way to being an Olympic gymnast and a World Series champ! They are both so kind, smart, and funny…literally everything you want your kids to be. It was such a joy to freeze time and capture this sweet season for the Montijo family.

My heart melts for this family. When you imagine a picture perfect, loving, joyful mother…Shelby is it. I even text her earlier this week to ask if it’s normal that I was literally crying while editing her pictures. I just love seeing her as a mom. Her hubby and boys are all such sweethearts and I felt like the luckiest photographer in the world driving home from their shoot. They are the kind of people who make this job the best. ❤️

I have been photographing this family for a LONG time and somehow each year is better than the last. I met Skylar when she was a tiny baby and she has grown to be so beautiful, smart and witty…just like her amazing mama.

I know I say it all the time, but I really adore the people who make this busy season so special. I also feel like I have this magical front row seat to watching my families’ children grow up and it’s the biggest honor. ❤️

Love love love this family!
Jen is all the things I want to be as a mom. She’s patient, fun, sweet, always so well planned!! I feel like she is magician!
I am also OBSESSED with Zoe and decided that, if I was a 1st grader, she’s the girl I would want as my best friend. Oh, and the boys are pretty great too! 😉

Sweet Brooke. She is the exact type of person you think of when you hear, “She’s as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.” Her heart of gold is evident in everything she does. To know her is to love her. Truly. And I cannot wait to see all she does in this world. ❤️

Family photo season has officially started! 🥳

The Taylor family won a portrait session through the silent auction at one of my favorite events of the year, the Amphi Foundation Gala. I was so excited to kick off my favorite season with the coolest family. Ethnée Taylor is an award-winning Science teacher at Cross Middle School. Her family is super fun and I left our session beyond impressed with how smart, kind, and respectful her boys are. ❤️

The Amphi Foundation provides support to the students and staff of Amphitheater Public Schools through supporting programs such as the Amphi Clothing Bank, student scholarships, teacher grants, and more.

We ALMOST cancelled this session due to rain. I mean, it was raining…like need windshield wipers raining…at the location 40 minutes prior to our scheduled start time. I’m so glad we waited to make the call! This will forever be a favorite for me.

This is such an awful tragedy. Please pray for this family, the students and staff at Centennial, as well as the emergency personnel who responded and tried to save her.

I LOVE this family. When someone talks about “the salt of the earth,” THESE are the people they are referring to. From the grandparents (not pictured-this time 😉) to this sweet new baby, all of them are just purely wonderful people. I am thankful to know them and to be able to preserve their memories of this precious time in life. ❤️
