I just love the first photo here! 🤍 Sometimes the best photos are the little in-between moments, the genuine candids that happen when no one is really thinking about the camera.

This family session at Fence in Tryon was so much fun. We ran around, played games, laughed a lot, and they even stopped to smile for me a few times. 😂

But really, this is what it’s all about. Capturing your babies while they’re still babies, and capturing them as they grow! Each season of life is so special. 🤗

Such a sweet family of four! 🤍 I told Anna her kids (2 and 3) listen and behave SO well… she may need to come over and parent mine for a few days! 🤭😂

But really, family photos aren’t just about preservation - they’re about the memories. The little personalities, the way your babies look at you, and all the little moments you’ll want to remember long after they’ve grown.

I’ve known these two since we were in high school and let me just say… their kids are SO much like them, it’s not even funny! Their personalities, little mannerisms, facial expressions, and even their physical features are all little pieces of Reese and Stacey.
There’s just something so special about watching people you grew up with become parents and then seeing so much of them reflected in their children. These four are the absolute sweetest and cutest. I can’t wait for their kiddos to have sleepovers with my kiddos like we used to do. 🤍

I always think it’s so cute when families apologize to me before their session because they’re worried about how their kids might behave. 😂 But uh, scroll and see how my own family photos went!

Y’all, I’m a mom too, and I know exactly how it is. Kids have big feelings, short attention spans, and sometimes their own plans for the day, and that’s okay! Every session is different, and sometimes we just have to ride the wave and go with the flow. The most important thing is capturing your family’s genuine love.

I promise that your session won’t be all stiff poses and forced smiles. We play games, smell flowers. and sometimes race around!! Some of the sweetest photos come from those candid moments when your little ones are simply being themselves.

So please, don’t stress about whether your babies will sit still or smile perfectly. Bring your babies to me just as they are, and let’s make some beautiful memories together. ❤️
