Jolynne here. I just wanted to share a little about my passion for preserving moments in time through photography.
Back in 2017, when I first started dating Andrew, we would go on long nature walks together. I’d borrow one of his cameras and take pictures of the things that caught my attention: interesting plants and flowers, clouds stretching across the sky, old street signs, random colors hidden along our walks, sunlight filtering through trees, and all the little details people often pass by without noticing.
Over time, photography became something deeply personal to me. When I capture and edit my images, my goal is to make people feel like they are standing there beside me in that exact moment. I want the world to feel still for just a second. I want shoulders to relax, jaws to unclench, and the weight people carry to lift, even briefly, while they experience what I saw through my lens.
Ampersand Moments is my passion project, my artistic space, and a reflection of how I see the world. While it exists separately from Hersey Creative Studios, it is still very much a part of me.
This page is where I’ll share the beauty, whimsy, emotion, and quiet moments that speak to me, along with occasional art and creative projects that inspire me along the way.
