ArtMoods from Suz God in his kindness gave me this gift. I hope to bring joy to others and glory to God with it.

I desire for others to see the beauty I see and be brought to worship through it.

This painting is similar to a painting I sold. It also originated from a photo from Vancouver Island. I called the first one "Morning" but haven't named this one yet. It has a spiritual meaning as well as just being a part of God's beautiful creation. It is about looking for the morning when Jesus returns and takes us out of this cold, dark, dreary world and warms us by his very presence.

I went camping in the Sierras with my husband when we were in our twenties. We hiked in eight feet of snow for eight miles at 10,000 feet above sea level with terrible equipment. My little tennis shoes froze solid, and my sleeping bag was my dad's old WW2 sleeping bag that was in such bad shape, the stuffing was bunched up. I thought I might die I was so cold. It was hard to breathe because of the altitude. But it was the most beautiful place I had ever seen! I felt like I had a glimpse of heaven! After suffering all night in the bitterly cold tent, the sun finally came up and warmed up our tent. It felt like an oven and I was finally able to get warm, relax my tense body, and sleep a little. The whole experience reminded me that when Jesus comes back, things are going to be made right!

I have a new painting! This comes from a photo I took on Vancouver Island. It is not exactly like the photo, but I still like it. I enjoyed the mood of the photo and tried to get that mood in the painting. It was such a beautiful, rainy, foggy, misty Vancouver Island day!

I think I am finished with my shrimp boat. I feel like the boat is coming out of the night and storms and heading towards the light which to me symbolizes Jesus. I feel like this rusty, little, old boat. The title is "Almost Home". I did not name the boat when I took this photo, but I finally put a name on it. It's name is Grace.
