We’ll be posting a video directly from the Eleanor Armory shop discussing a serious issue created by Gun Owners of America’s historic federal court victory against the NFA registration requirements.

Georgia law still presents a major obstacle:

O.C.G.A. § 16-11-122 prohibits possession of a silencer unless an exemption applies. O.C.G.A. § 16-11-124(4) currently ties the civilian exemption directly to registration under the National Fi****ms Act.

That means federal deregulation does not automatically fix Georgia law—and Georgians should not assume they can possess an unregistered suppressor today.

This is exactly why staying involved matters. Call your Georgia representatives. Ask them to remove suppressors from Georgia’s prohibited-weapons statute. Become a Gun Owners of America member and remain active in Second Amendment advocacy.

Major victories are won—but our rights must still be protected at home.
