There’s something so special about photographing couples who are just so comfortable together — the laughs, the little touches, the way they look at each other… those are the moments I love capturing most.

There’s something so special about being trusted with one of the biggest moments in someone’s life.

And doing that here in Northern Michigan? Even better.

I love the behind-the-scenes just as much as the actual moment — helping figure out where to stand, when to walk in, how to keep things looking natural, and making sure they have no idea what’s coming.

Then it happens.

The nervous smile.
