Figured it was time for a little reintroduction around here āØ
Iām Court, the photographer behind Court Captures. Iām a Northern California wedding photographer with four years behind the camera, and somehow I still get just as excited over a good veil shot, perfect golden light and the kind of candid moment you couldnāt recreate if you tried.
My style lives somewhere between editorial and real. I love creating the photos that feel like they belong in a magazine, but I care just as much about the messy, emotional, hilarious little moments happening in between.
Weddings have a huge piece of my heart, but I also love photographing couples and families through all the seasons that come before and after them. Engagements, growing families, anniversaries, babies, or simply documenting life exactly as it looks right now. Getting to photograph the same people through different chapters is one of my favorite parts of what I do.
And if being in front of a camera makes you nervous? You are very much my kind of person. Iāll tell you what to do with your hands, fix the tiny things, hype you up when you need it and let you forget Iām there when you donāt.
A few things about me outside of photography: Iām a boy mama, permanently down for a trip, probably carrying an iced coffee, and lately you can also find me attempting to become a golfer š
Iāve been lucky enough to photograph weddings, elopements, couples and families all over California, and seeing my work published still feels pretty damn cool.
