I lost count how many hundreds of images were taken while a Barred Owl family nested in our back yard. How lucky to see these amazing creatures right outside your door. A good friend, Elizabeth Needham, asked me to come up with a wall art idea for her home. Sooooo…..meet ‘Hoo Knows’ - started from a photo - added a couple of secret steps🤫 - and finished on a 40” square gallery wrapped canvas. One of the most rewarding pieces I’ve constructed…..thank you Elizabeth! I love it!! 😍

I am flattered when friends purchase Red Horse Images photos and/or art for their home. Fellow Iowa-Kansas gal, Becky and Don McKinnis were looking for something different to hang on their wall. ‘Pilot Butte Bachelors’ filled the bill for them…..this wild horse image is from a photo I took several years ago, in Wyoming, and colorfully morphed into a beautiful 24x48” canvas through digital art and acrylic paint.

I don’t know how this image slipped through the crack when doing edits a few years ago….a young bachelor stallion crossed my path while visiting one of the McCullough Peaks Herds, east of Cody, Wyoming. My memory says he was a cocky dude! Added digital effects today….😊

We’ve been hearing this guy ‘gobbling’ his little lungs out for a couple days….he decided today was a good day to be a model. a great display was going on in our back yard all afternoon. 😊🦃

The arena is getting hot with fast horses, here, at Stormont Vail Events Centre! The Capital City Futurity is in full swing. Red Horse Images is setting up a vendor spot with Sandy Bryant Parker/Flint Hills Fire starting Friday afternoon through the weekend at Stormont Event Centre, Topeka, during the Capital City Barrel Futurity. Come on down, watch some fancy horses and do some spring shopping. There will be fun fine art pieces from a new collection. Let's welcome April and her warmer temps. ☀️💨🌷
