i wanted to challenge myself in ways other than just taking photos this year. i’ve always enjoyed being behind the camera as well as in front of it, modeling for friends over the years for fun. when ericka posted about needing a model i jumped at the opportunity to work with her again, considering what a positive experience we had on our 1950s glamour shoot. we shot these photos in front of a wall in my living room & i was finally able to attempt beauty photography re-touching (the most tedious process i’ve endured a photographer thus far). it’s fun to try something new once in awhile & be more knowledgeable in the endless list of tools that help us in our craft. this is your daily reminder to go out & connect with your fellow creatives. have fun with it, art doesn’t always have to be so serious.
