Hi there, I’m Jo! 👋🏼

If you’re new here, I want to introduce myself. If you’re not new here, then heyyyyy! 🤪 Or maybe you’re not new here, but don’t really know who I am. Let me tell you!

I’m more than just a photographer. I wear a few different hats, actually, and yes, the crown is one of them. 👑

I’m a Mom. A mommy. Mamacita. (IYKYK) 😂 I have two under 4, and they definitely keep us busy! My daughter is a little firecracker who thinks she runs the household. She doesn’t, but she’ll learn sooner or later lol. My son is WILD. He’s really the one you have to watch. We have a joke that if you don’t keep your eye on him, he’ll end up on the roof. 🏠 These guys have definitely helped me perfect my photo abilities with little ones!

I celebrated my GOLDEN birthday this year, and ironically, my last year in my 20s. They’ve been good to me! In this decade, I became a mom, a college graduate, a fiancé, a mom to 2, a homeowner, and soon-to-be wife! I’m really proud of everything I’ve accomplished in my 29 years here. 🥹 Looking forward to the next 29!

I’m a night owl. 🦉🌝 If you’re ever wondering when I’m editing your photos, it’s 99% done at night. I come alive after dark! I have never, ever in my life enjoyed getting up in the morning. I’m not a morning person. At all. Ever. Nighttime is where it’s at.

We’re approaching, kind of, my favorite season: fall. 🌻 Texas likes to skip this season sometimes and stay hot until it’s suddenly cold, but I love the cozy feeling of fall! I love celebrating Halloween and Thanksgiving with my family. There’s just something about this time of year that gives me all the nostalgic feels. 🍁

I’m a coffee kinda gal. I like it hot, iced, with oat milk, or whole milk. I like it in the day, and I like it at night. I will never skip the chance to have an iced coffee! I’m a Dutch girl, but 7 Brew is closest to me, so I end up there a lot. Starbucks is overrated, but I will absolutely have an iced white mocha when I feel a migraine coming on. 😂☕

Lastly, I’m a reader! I haven’t always been one, this is a somewhat newer hobby of mine. When I was younger, I used to read Justin Bieber fanfictions. I will not be elaborating any further on that note. 😂 But now I’m into romances/romantasy, thrillers, and mysteries!
