Toledo has given me a lot over the years.

When I moved here in 2010, I only knew a couple of people. Since then, this city has trusted me to capture weddings, families, creative projects, school events, and so many moments through B. Piri Photography.

That’s something I will never take for granted.

I’m excited to share that B. Piri Photography is now part of Jūpmode’s Here for Good program; an initiative that supports and reinvests in local businesses right here in our community.

Being part of this program means a lot to me. It’s a reminder that building something local, rooted in community, and centered around storytelling really matters.

Thank you to everyone in Toledo and Northwest Ohio who has trusted me with your memories over the years. Your support is the reason I’m able to keep doing this work.

This year held more than I ever expected.
Moments behind the camera. Moments in the classroom. Growth I asked for and growth I didn’t realize I needed yet.

There were highs I’m deeply grateful for and lows that taught me hard but necessary lessons. Relationships that didn’t make it, boundaries that finally did. Time with family that reminded me who I am at my core. Days spent moving my body, rebuilding my discipline, and choosing myself again.

And somewhere in the middle of all of it, I graduated with my master’s degree.

This year didn’t just shape my work; it shaped me.
Here’s to carrying the lessons forward and walking into the next chapter with clarity, intention, and gratitude.

As this year comes to a close, I’ve been reflecting on the goals I want to set for the year ahead. One of the biggest things I want to lean into is creating more education opportunities; spaces where creatives can learn, grow, and sharpen their craft together.
