I love looking extra close at details, and I’ve loved seeing how I can capture these details with my camera. It’s been really interesting learning how to adjust my editing and my camera to get the most out of these close up shots!
It’s always fascinating to me to see all the little details in nature, like the little spikes on the petals of the lily!

Hello!!
I felt like I was overdue for an updated introduction on this page, since the last time I did was 6 years ago - I was still in undergrad!

I’m Katie, and what started as a fun way to document a family trip in 2016 quickly turned into a hobby that I really love. One of my favorite places to be is behind the camera, capturing moments & memories for my friends & family.
I’m learning new things all the time, and I love seeing some improvement in each photo I take.
I still have a lot to learn, but don’t they say practice is the best teacher? 😊
To anyone that has let me be a part of documenting memories, milestones, and moments in time, thank you 💌 here’s to the next 📸

I got some absolute behemoth lenses at garage sales this summer, and I’ve been playing around with them, trying to figure them out! Believe it or not, I took these from a window in my apartment building!
I still have a ways to go in figuring out the full capacity of these lenses, but I’m having a lot of fun with them!
