“Did you ever stop to think, and forget to start again?” - Winnie the Pooh - As a street photographer, I have to admit, there’s something absolutely amazing about taking random photos of strangers on the streets. I think part of it is the varied reactions I get when I point my camera towards them. Sometimes I’ll get a smile, other times a frown, but then there are the times when I’ll get virtually no expression at all….like the couple in the photo above. ...

As photographers, we're probably more critical of our images than our audiences.  I know, that's a cliched and grandiose...

As photographers, we're probably more critical of our images than our audiences. I know, that's a cliched and grandiose overgeneralization. But hey...humor me. Nevertheless, I've created images that I really like, some that I think are just OK, and thousands more that pretty much suck (PMS). So, please understand that I'm overjoyed when I create an image that falls into the "I like" category.

As photographers, we're probably more critical of our images than our audiences. I know, that's a cliched and grandiose overgeneralization. But hey...humor me. Nevertheless, I've created images that I really like, some that I think are just OK, and thousands more that pretty much suck (PMS). So, please understand that I'm overjoyed when I create an image that falls into the "I like" category....
